Toshiba officially introduced its first 3D laptop without glasses. His name is Toshiba Qosmio F750 3D has a 15.6 inch screen and is build on Intel Huron River platform.

Behold 3D technology reaching another level. Toshiba introduced the first laptop with 3D technology without glasses – Toshiba Qosmio F750 3D. From what I remember, Toshiba has for a few months this technology and I think the first model announced in the prototype phase was Qosmio T851/D8CR. But Qosmio F750 3D will be put into production.

Basically, the laptop comes equipped with a 3D display of 15.6 inches, which is able to provide both 2D and 3D images simultaneously. Moreover, 3D effects can be viewed without shutter glasses and tiring. The webcam will be used to track the eye position from the screen and adjust the display image, so the 3D effect can be seen from any angle you look. The disadvantage of this 3D technology is that 3D effects can be seen only by one user. So you can’t look at a 3D movie with your family.

Will be available in the color combination of red and black – typical Qosmio range, but is likely to see a more sober version in white. Toshiba announced that the new Toshiba Qosmio F750 3D will be available in August and will cost about 1,500 Euros.
