Today people from Digitimes announced that the partner of Apple, Pegatron has received a command of 15 million iPhone 5 devices to be delivered in September this year. Sources inside Pegatron say update to the iPhone 4 is minor so probably we will have a terminal named iPhone 4S with better hardware and no change in aesthetic. Date of delivery of these new terminals is presumed to September when Apple will hold a conference that will present iOS 4 and the new iPhone 5 device.

Those from Pegatron produce now CDMA version of iPhone 4 but it seems that future iPhone model will be produced at Pegatron both versions in the CDMA and GSM. Supposedly iPhone 4S/5 will have an A5 dual-core processor just like iPad 2, 3.5 inch screen, iOS 5, graphics chip as powerful as the iPad 2, an awesome camera of 5 or 8 megapixels and that’s all. Basically the new iPhone could be a kind of iPhone 3GS, meaning more power “under the hood” without any change outside.

The new notification system implemented by Apple in iOS 5 seems to have sparked the interest of many developers in the jailbreak community, officers are now launching tweaks of the most interesting/strange kind.

In the above picture we have presented a tweak that will change the future display of the alert calls being received. If someone calls us now when the screen is locked, this tweak will move directly into the status bar that displays the call being received like any notification received by us. The status bar will appear that little bar that is past the contact name, his picture and two buttons to accept/reject the call.

The idea is very interesting and very useful from my point of view because if we receive a call you do not want to accept you do not have to wait for unlocking the screen but we can see the task quietly resolved. The downside is that in terms of graphics the tweak looks quite strange but I am sure that by the final version will be improved. One such tweak I find extremely useful and I think many will see it with the same eyes.

Ten days ago, when Steve Jobs during WWDC showed the world how the new and “revolutionary” iCloud service work, made clearly one of the biggest blunders. Let’s see how:

iCloud service, a true pillar of the future iOS 5, it will have to radically change our approach to the digital world and this is not debatable. Mobility brought within the automatic synchronization between devices and many other news.

So, at WWDC was only one thing to do: to demonstrate the use of the iCloud service. And Steve Jobs has done this very well. But you know that news came out in these times? ICloud is still in beta, and because Apple is still working to make operational mega DataCenter di North Carolina, the only way to mane iCloud functional was his hosting in a similar service already existing. And here I think Jobs made the mistake we we’re talking, because the server elected to host the first month of iCloud service is neither more nor less than Windows Azure, Microsoft’s cloud service!

Some might argue that this is not a mistake, because iOS 5 is still in beta and therefore is in the test phase, yet for a so proud a company like Apple or Steve Jobs in particular, the help asked from Microsoft to launch a revolutionary charged service, is not a satisfaction.

Especially if they talk about the concept of “Revolution” that iCloud should get it. Apple is preparing for a revolution but Microsoft offers the weapons. It was better to wait until the infrastructure of launching the iCloud service was ready, rather than rely on the “enemy”?

The guys from Gizmodo have discovered a very strange technique to enable a terminal which has been made to update iOS 5 but doesn’t have registered UDID on the account of a developer. The method is very complicated but it seems to work because the guys at Gizmodo are very serious about it. The steps below should be followed very carefully to make sure that your terminal activation after installation is without any problems. The method was discovered by a young man who seems to have much time but managed to find a very useful method that gives many the opportunity to install the iOS 5 without paying anything. The process below will only work on iPhone.

First you have to download the iOS over the Internet 5, preferably from your own developer account, then install it using shift + Check for updates in iTunes. After you finish the installation follow the steps below carefully.

1. Press 3 times the Home button to open the Voice Over.

2. Press 3 times again on the Home button and a menu will appear where you select Emergency Call.

3. After pressing the Emergency Call button will open the window you started the call. Now make a swipe with 3 toes down and you open the Notifications Center.

4. From Notifications Center open the Weather application.

5. Press Home, quit the Weather application and you are ready to use iOS 5.

After you enter in the system shut down the Voice Over and you can use everything in iOS 5 without problems. The idea is that you have a terminal unlocked factory/encoded in the network used by you because the above process will not work at all.
