Yesterday we say to you that the iPhone 4S was sold entirely in all 6 countries where Apple has to offer for pre-order for users. Yesterday we say that AT&T has sold no less than 200,000 iPhone 4S devices in 12 hours, which is the most “successful” launch of a mobile phone in the history of mobile operator.

However in the U.S. there are three mobile operators who have lost their device stocks, iPhone 4S in the first 12 hours and those from CNN say that Apple would have sold no less than a half million of devices in that period.

Despite early glitches that slowed down pre-orders, AT&T (T) announced Friday it had taken orders for 200,000 iPhone 4S units in the first 12 hours — “the most successful iPhone launch we’ve ever had.” iPhone 4 pre-orders last year were 10 times greater than the iPhone 3GS’s, and that was when AT&T was the iPhone’s only U.S. carrier.

500,000 units sold in the first 12 hours only in the U.S. plus several hundred thousand in the other six countries and is likely that Apple to sold 1 million units in just 12 hours after opening pre-orders.

Last year iPhone 4 has sold with 1.7 million copies in three days but iPhone 4S it will exceed easily because it’s the most desirable smartphone on the planet right now. Tomorrow Apple will announce the results most likely of initial pre-orders and the disappointment called iPhone 4S will be a success for Apple.

Apple has just opened a few minutes ago a pre-session for commands for iPhone 4S device in the U.S., Canada, England, France, Germany and Japan, interested users can now make an order that the device will be delivered on the 14th to the specified address in order. If you submit an order now, as soon as possible, make sure that the device will arrive at your door exactly in the day of official release so that you can button it immediately and share your impressions with all who were unable to buy such a device.

The device prices in Europe are:
England

  • iPhone 4S 16GB £ 499.00
  • iPhone 4S 32GB £ 599.00
  • iPhone 4S 64GB £ 699.00

France

  • iPhone 4S 16GB € 629.00
  • iPhone 4S 32GB € 739.00
  • iPhone 4S 64GB € 849.00

Germany

  • iPhone 4S 16GB € 629.00
  • iPhone 4S 32GB € 739.00
  • iPhone 4S 64GB € 849.00

In the U.S. the prices are slightly lower but there are not yet known whether the device will be marketed and decoded for users so if you purchase it is likely to stay with it encoded a very long time. In terms of number of units you can buy, Apple has forced the AT&T to not sell more than one device for every person willing and this limitation might apply to all devices sold globally so it would be good to have a friend ready to make one order.

In the past, before launching a new product, the old Apple products could be found increasingly harder and delivery terms for them grew slightly. Today those from Apple increased the delivery times for all iPhone 4 devices purchased in the U.S. and already is speculated that the change would be related to launch of iPhone 5. Until today any iPhone 4 ordered from Apple’s online store was delivered within 24 hours whether if you are talking about the coded models on AT&T or Verizon, or about the devices available decoded.

The increased delivery time is a result of declining stocks of the device and the news from today about growing the production of iPhone 5 units may have some connections with this change. In the past MacBook’s began to be harder delivered before the release of the new series for the iPhone so theoretically should be the same situation although the change may have connection with any other problems.

Apple has not officially announced its launch, everything we know about it is limited to the rumors but the Chinese are promoting iPhone 5 in their own country. Several resellers of Apple products have made banners with advertising products and they hope to attract a few customers that they have no idea what it means to have an iPhone.

Those from BGR obtained today information from sources inside AT&T who say that vicepresident of U.S. company announced that in the next 35-50 days will be launched iPhone 5. This timeline shows us that the launch of the fifth generation of the iPhone will take place in September or early of October. This confirms the rumor that a few days ago it announced that preorders for iPhone 5 will be recorded as of September 30 while the official launch will take place on October 7.

One of our high-level AT&T sources just informed us that an AT&T Vice President has confirmed to several employees that the iPhone 5 is slated to launch in early October. Additionally, the VP communicated the following to a group of managers: “Expect things to get really, really busy in the next 35-50 days, so prepare your teams accordingly.” Apple is widely expected to announce the iPhone 5 in a late September event with a release set for early October.

Today is August 19, and Apple announced the official date for the conference to present iOS 5 and the iPhone 5, so theoretically this conference could take place somewhere in the middle of this month. Those from BGR had good sources in the past in terms of product Apple launches, so is likely to be right again.
