Panasonic has upgraded its mini 10.1-inch laptop with the new generation of processors. Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 now comes equipped with Intel Sandy Bridge.

Toughbook CF-19 model is a mini laptop with 10.1-inch display, touchscreen and tilting. This mini laptop can be easily transformed into a Tablet PC. Like most manufacturers of portable, Panasonic is bringing their new models on the Huron River platform.

The new Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 comes equipped with Intel Sandy Bridge i5-2520M at 2.5 GHz, Intel HD 3000 graphics card, 4 GB RAM, storage capacity up to 500GB on classic hard drive or up to 256 GB on units SSD, 3G, WLAN and Bluetooth connectivity. The casing is a magnesium alloy, which ensures a better resistance in heavy use.

The Japanese manufacturer announced on the official site that the new model has a starting time with 20% better and has more than 160% higher score in 3D Mark 2006 compared with the previous model. Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 will enjoy a range of up to 9 hours.

Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 is designed to withstand water, dust, vibration, temperature fluctuations and comply with military standards for durability and safety. In March they announced that a Panasonic Toughbook CF-19 has been tested at extreme altitude in the Himalayas.

The new generation of portable Toughbook CF-19 will be available at a price of about 3000 EUR and will be in stores in July.
