MSI announced a pair of new ultra-thin laptops – MSI X460 and X460DX. They are built on Intel Huron River.

A few days ago, MSI has come to ramp with 2 other ultra-thin models – MSI X460 and X460DX. Notebook configurations based on Intel Sandy Bridge Core i5-2410M or Core i7-2630QM, DDR3 memory and hard disk capacity up to 750GB. MSI X460 only has integrated Intel graphics card HD 3000, while MSI X460DX has dedicated Nvidia GeForce GT 540M graphics card with 1GB VRAM.

Both MSI laptops are equipped with 14 inch LED backlight display – 1366 x 768, DVD optical drive type, a 1.3 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, card Reader 4-in-one, two USB 3.0 ports, D-sub and HDMI outputs. The battery has 6 cells and provides a working range up to 8 hours.

On the software side, MSI X-Slim X460 is equipped with: Easy Face (facial recognition), Eco Engine (to extend battery management with 5 different games, movies, presentation, office and turbo) and MSI I-Charger (for charging USB devices).
