Since from June 5 was rumored that the iPhone will have an 8 megapixel camera capable of 1080p HD video format, the change is seen as a logical step that Apple will make with the launch of the new device.

Of course that until now the Cupertino Company has not provided any information about the new device but an article in an economy newspaper of Taiwan shows us that two providers of image sensors of Apple will deliver 8-megapixel image sensor for iPhone 5. Largan Precision and Genius Electronic Optical works with Apple since the launch of iPhone 4 and the connection between the two companies could expand and the iPhone 5 could have an 8 megapixel camera.

There would be no abnormal implementing an 8 megapixel camera on iPhone 5 considering that nearly all the smartphones on the market already have one. The iPhone 4 is one of the most popular devices when we talking about the recorded video clips or photos but the iPhone 5 could exceed without any problems if it contains a camera with better image sensor.

iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 were the first devices that brought better cameras than the previous versions and in this year I do not think that Apple will depart from this tradition, especially the iPhone 4 that was praised for its camera. We don’t know for sure who exactly will provide the new devices cameras for the company but the chances that iPhone have five 8 megapixel camera are very high.
