Intel unveiled at Computex 2011, a new kind of notebook convertible in a tablet, wishing to emphasize the performance of Oak Trail new processors.

The new Oak Trail processors, Tablet PCs and netbooks, provide superior multimedia capabilities and energy efficiency. They come with an Intel GMA 600 graphics card integrated and a memory controller, allowing the construction of a motherboard with a slim design.

The heat dissipated by the new processor is so low that allows the construction of thin devices and without ventilation. Intel took advantage of these benefits and introduced at Computex 2011 a netbook convertible in Tablet PC. His name is Keeley Lake and is very thin. In the back is a little thicker because it has implemented a number of connection ports and extension.

The folding screen can be folded in the keyboard through a central pivot, which allows rotation and transformation of the netbook into a tablet. We expect more information about configuration, availability and price soon.
