HTC is preparing for the fair from Barcelona two top smartphones with Android OS, a quad core one and the other with dual core. In the last time, people has been talking about both  and have been mentioned under the code name Edge/Endeavour and Ville. Their trade names came to light only now: HTC One X and HTC One S.

Below, we will present you two HTC models, one with high performance, and the other is a cheaper version of the former, which should be accessible to anyone.


HTC One X

HTC One X is the first quad-core smartphone from HTC company. The platform is based on Nvidia Tegra 3 and quad CPU is working at a frequency of 1.5 GHz. The remaining specifications are:

  • 4.7 inch capacitive touchscreen, 1280 x 720 pixel resolution;
  • 8 MP camera, aperture F2.2, Full HD 1080p;
  • 1 GB RAM;
  • 32 GB internal memory, microSD slot;
  • HSDPA 21 Mbps, Wi-Fi, GPS;
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS ;


HTC One S

This phone is intended to be the accessible version (as price) of HTC One X. To cut costs, HTC has a dual core instead of quad core and the screen is about 4.3 inches with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.

Besides these two Smartphones with Android, HTC might announce one or more Windows Phone devices, and some other phones running Android OS.
