Symbian OS offers many possibilities for software developers. Nokia terminals from E and N series deserves to receive useful applications that enhance the mobile experience! Here are some software that you should not miss!

1) Gmail mobile version is a Java application that gives you access to Google Mail from your mobile phone. Even if the beginning is a little hard to get used to, Google has made serious efforts making shortcuts by pressing keys!
2) GooSync is a great multi-calendar sync options. Maybe even take notes on your computer, for example using iCal. It made all of Google.
3) Qik offers live streaming directly from your mobile phone equipped with camera. EDGE connection would be problematic, but WiFi works perfectly.
4) Jaiku is a native application for a community wide conversation. The options are multiple and can even export the calendars between users to set up a meeting depending on free time! You can choose buddy’s, you can view the exact location of members and many other interesting options!
5) Fring is a multi-protocol IM client that supports AIM, Skype, Yahoo, MSN, Google Talk or Twitter. Contacts can be called, provided that either Google Talk or Skype. Recently Fring allows data transfer to 3G or WiFi!
6) Nokia Sports Tracker uses GPS module built-in and shows statistics such as distance traveled, average speed, altitude for runners, cyclists and other sports lovers!
7) Handy Taskman is an application manager that provides detailed information about any running program. Furthermore, if you want to close an application with a single key press, Handy Taskman is the right choice!
Shozu gets you out from trouble when you want to upload multimedia content on the Internet. Realize very cool pictures and videos then put them on YouTube/Blip. TV or Flickr/SmugMug are all very intuitive, with Shozu!
9) Nokia Podcasting lets you organize your podcast without a computer. You can even you download content directly to your phone using WiFi or other data transmission protocol, everything is simple and intuitive!
10) Google Maps helps you travel when you need a map. Even if a GPS is not currently implemented Google My Location, approximate location option that displays the current map.
11) JDictionary is more than a dictionary. Contains 1.6 million words, links between explanation and a small encyclopedia. Requires 6.8 MB free space on your phone, But it deserves!

ShoZu Application for S60 phones

ShoZu can get you out of trouble when you want to upload multimedia content on the Internet. You can make very cool pictures and video clips, then put them on YouTube or Blip.tv, Flickr, SmugMug! All of them is very simple, with ShoZu!

The app is available for download through Nokia’s OVI store, the largest global mobile app store with users in more than 100 countries. The partnership allows both ShoZu and Nokia to expand their social media sharing capabilities.

Qik Live Streaming for Your Mobile

The Force Unleashed is a third-person action game in which the player’s character’s weapons are the Force and a lightsaber. Developers treated the main character’s lightsaber like another Force power, and wanted to ensure “something visceral and cool” happened with each button-push. The game has a combo system for stringing lightsaber attacks and for combining lightsaber attacks with Force powers. Experience points earned by killing enemies and finding artifacts can be used to increase Starkiller’s powers and traits. The game is intended to be easy to learn how to play; the development team included “horrible” gamers to help ensure the game’s accessibility. Players can casually run and gun through the game, but the game rewards those who take a stealthy, more tactical approach. The game includes enemies that are easy to overcome; game difficulty arises from presenting these enemies in large numbers that can wear down the player’s character. Additionally, enemies learn from the player’s character’s attacks; using the same attack on different characters can sometimes lead to the player’s character doing less damage. The enemies, which number over 50, have various strengths and weaknesses; developers faced the difficulty of effectively placing them throughout the game’s varied environments.
