200 applications generates a half of the App Store profit for iPhone

Because for Apple the market from China is extremely important because there generate a great deal of company revenues. We not talk just about the actual sales and purchases of products but because of China App Store download almost as many applications as the U.S., when we talk about the iPad tablets.

The information are coming from the Distimo company that announce that a half of the profit for the iPhone’s App Store is generated by 200 free applications that through the freemium model generate very good profit for developers. The company made a top that lists the best applications of 2011 and ranks on first place Angry Birds which is available on many platforms and generates profit for its producers. Interestingly, in this top 10 there is any applications that are available on all major mobile platforms.

Find My iPhone is a free service offered by Apple that allows iDevice owners to locate their device on the map, to block it, send a message to him and remove the entire contents if it is necessary. iOS 5 has brought very many changes for users and developers, but a good portion of them were presented by Apple. iPhone 5 could have a voice control feature, called Assistant

Apple is working on implementation in iOS 5 of a new feature voice control, called Assistant. The new feature was discovered by those from 9 to 5 Mac, with a screenshot provided by a “reliable source”. Assistant is not yet in the current development version of iOS beta 5, so it is likely to be exclusively feature for the iPhone 5. (Just as Voice Control was exclusive for 3GS.)

The leak suggests that in addition to text conversion in speech and ordering the basic functions of the iPhone, the new program also will integrate the technology used in Siri application that Apple has purchased recently. Siri is a free application that uses data stored on your device, such as location, calendar events and many others to find the best way to fulfill your request.

For example, if you say “Find me two tickets to the Transformers movie tonight”, Assistant will find available tickets to a location nearest for you. In addition, the application will have the ability to respond to the user.
