A tutorial for jailbreak easier than the previous one valid only for the iPad 2 and iPhone 4S with iOS 5.0.1

Although it took more than one day beholds the Windows version of the program Absinthe is now available for download. This version comes just hours after the CLI released by Dev Team version that some of you have tried it already and have managed to jailbreak through or. The Windows version of Absinthe works like Mac OS X version is still jailbreak iPhone 5.0/5.0.1 4S with IOS and IOS iPad 2 with 5.0.1 installed. Absinthe was not scheduled to make hack activate so do not use it for that.

Step 1: Download Absinthe from here.
Step 2: IDEV connect to your computer and open Absinthe then press Jailbreak. The process itself should last up to 5 minutes depending on your computer.
Step 3: The program will go through these steps while your terminal will pass through several “states”, as it is ready to jailbreak.

When you see the message below the screen must unlock it using Slide to unlock and open the absinthe of home screen. After a close-open and wait for a jailbreak will be implemented and the terminal will reset. If the access icon appears Absinthe Error Establishing Database Connection error then go to Settings> General> Network and activate the VPN setting. After activating it you get an error and reset terminal should continue the process of jailbreak. The error occurs because the load’s being put on Chronic Dev Team blog. Chronic Dev site if you are not loaded in that application you can not jailbreak!

Edit GTA III on iPhone, without making jailbreak

GTA III’s iDevice was launched last month in the App Store and the game is a port of the console version. The good part of this work lies in the fact that we can modify almost any part of GTA III sites using specially made for Grand Theft Auto fans. The really interesting here is that we can modify the application of our sites iDevice even without performing a jailbreak so you can customize your liking GTA.

In the following I will show you how to change the game GTA III and would be good to follow it exactly as described otherwise the process will not work.

1. Download the code injection for Windows / Mac. Download IMG Tool for Windows or Crossover for Mac.

2. After you install the programs you access one of these sites where you will find all sorts of mods for GTA III: 1, 2, 3.

3. Connect your iDevice to your computer and open code injection.

4. Using code injection navigate to: apps> com.rockstargames.gta3ios> gta3.app. You searched for gta3_pvr.img gta3_pvr.dir and you will copy into your computer and you will delete the iDevice.

5. Now using IMG Tool and open the file Crossover gta3_pvr.img where you copy the files you want to change. For this tutorial we will modify a car. Download this file from here and unzip it in your computer. Now back to IMG Tool open gta3_pvr.img file and search files and manana.txd manana.dff that option using Coomands> Extract the IMG Tool will extract them in your computer. After extracting the image delete them open IMG Tool. Now unpack the manner presented by me and open the image and add files manana.dff manana.txd using Coomands> extract and then run Commands> Rebuild Archive.

6. After the recovery process was completed copy of the archive back into your iDevice and gta3_pvr.im gta3_pvr.dir your files that you deleted in step 4. They have copied all the Apps> com.rockstargames.gta3ios> gta3.app.

If you followed the above steps strictly in GTA III when the old car Manana should be gone and in its place you should see a Ford V8 Sedan in 1980.

In present, Faxconn is producing 150.000 iPhones everyday!

A new report says that Faxconn Electronics, one of the Apple’s favourites producers they are working with for a few years, is producing 150.000 iPhones every day! The amount expected to ship from Apple is somewhere at 5-6 million in September.

This report comes from Digi Times website, and they said that 150.000 iPhones per day is the principal target, just like they signed and agreed in the contract. The number of units produced is estimated somewhere to 22 million in the fourth quarter economic year, when Apple will greatly reduce the stock of iPhone 4.

Meanwhile, the lens producer, Largan Precision and the maker of touch-screen displays TPK Holding, supplier of glass G-Tech Optoelectronics and Simplo and Dynapack battery supplier is working at full capacity, says the report. The next iPhone will be launched in October and at the end of the month you can already pre-order the next iPhone generation.

Meanwhile, this is the last photograph I saw, and the rumors said it’s been made with the new iPhone 5.

The iPhone market share growing in the U.S., and declines in Europe?

Today a report was published probably to enjoy the Android device manufacturers as some analysts argue that in the recent months the iPhone has lost its market share held in Europe. Basically the iPhone sales grew in the U.S., Australia and Britain but would have fallen in France, Spain, Italy, Germany and other European countries.

The information could be 100% true, but they were collected and during the period when iPhone 4S was not released yet, so for some countries in Europe, where market share seems to have fallen, sales were only in early counting November.

I guess that in the coming days will be many rumors that the iPhone will die in Europe but the reality is that the study has not counted a long time after the release of iPhone 4S so information could be flawed.

On the other hand should not be excluded that the cheap Android devices is presented as an alternative for those who either can not afford iPhone or were not impressed by iPhone 4S but for now the Apple device seems to sell well. In January we will know how many tens of millions of iPhones has sold Apple and then we’ll see how these kinds of rumors are true.

200 applications generates a half of the App Store profit for iPhone

Because for Apple the market from China is extremely important because there generate a great deal of company revenues. We not talk just about the actual sales and purchases of products but because of China App Store download almost as many applications as the U.S., when we talk about the iPad tablets.

At the downloading made on iPhone devices the difference is greater on the figures but if we see that in the U.S. and China are separated by only a few percent and Apple increased discharges of China it means a large increase in revenues.

The information are coming from the Distimo company that announce that a half of the profit for the iPhone’s App Store is generated by 200 free applications that through the freemium model generate very good profit for developers. In-app purchase is those that bring big money for Apple and those of Distimo figures speak for themselves.

The company made a top that lists the best applications of 2011 and ranks on first place Angry Birds which is available on many platforms and generates profit for its producers. Interestingly, in this top 10 there is any applications that are available on all major mobile platforms.

iOS 5.1 beta 2 slightly improves the battery autonomy on the iPhone 4S

For some users iOS 5 proved to be the main enemy of the battery autonomy. iOS 5.0.1 solved the problem for some users but for others Apple was forced to admit the second time that launched a version of iOS with problems and now is working on iOS 5.1.

iOS 5.1 beta 2 was released this week and it is expected to solve all the problems with the life battery, the solution could reach soon. Meanwhile an Italian forum made a small battery test on the iOS 5.1 beta 2 and they found that compared to iOS 5.0.1 there is a marginally improved autonomy.

We talk about a few extra minutes of usage for an iPhone 4S but they say that Apple keep open processes in beta versions, processes that improve the battery autonomy. In my experience, what you find in beta verison, you will find in the final version and the battery life has not improved, in my case, at the transition from beta to a final version.

I can say that in all versions of iOS 5.0.1 beta for iPhone 4S I get over 6 hours of usage on making any on the device but to be honest I do not think that I’ll obtain the same thing from any version of iOS 5.x.

Apple testing new resolutions for iPhones equipped with dual / quad-core processors?

Many of today’s owners of iDevices expect the launch of an iPhone to come equipped with a 4 inch screen and an even better resolution and Apple seems to be interested to bring it. According to a German blog has the power of Apple engineer, the company is testing the video card drivers that should support resolutions: 960×640, 1280×720 and 1440 x 800 in iPhones. First resolutions we have it in the Retina Display but the other two are far from being able called “retina” by today’s standards and would bring many headaches for developers of applications.

According to the report, Apple is testing two sets of seven drivers each targeting either dual-core or quad-core chips. Within each set, Apple is said to be testing four drivers targeting the current 960 x 640 display size, two targeting 1280 x 720 displays and one targeting 1440 x 800 displays.

According to “Apple engineer“, the company tests every 4 sets of drivers for these resolutions and it looks like dual/quad-core processors are used to them. Yes, you read well, it seems that Apple would test the quad-core with its iPhones, which is very credible given that the first tablets with this kind of processors are starting to appear on the market. Honestly the resolution of 1280×720 and 1440×800 would very much platform fragmentation iPhone/iPod Touch if Apple would find a way to scale applications and they may end up with Android’s.

Samsung Galaxy S II voted the phone of the year, iPad 2 is the product of the year.

Samsung Galaxy S II is presented by several sites as the smartphone of 2011 and all this with a month before the end of the year. If we look at things objectively the choice is good but the simple fact that it is only fair.

iPhone 4 could not be chosen the phone of the year (because it won the title in 2010 and still was an old product), iPhone 4S could not be elected because it was launched only in October and was observed mainly through Siri and a lot of problems and other Android devices to merit the title doesn’t exist.

This year Samsung Galaxy S II is the smartphone of the year because is stronger than the iPhone 4 in terms of performance and because Apple has delayed the launch of the iPhone 4S months so it gave enough time for S II to “perform” on the market. If the iPhone 4S was launched in June of 2011 the things were different but in my view Galaxy S II worth to won the title this year.

As a consolation for Apple, iPad 2 was chosen as the tablet of 2011 and the product of 2011 and MacBook Air of 13 inch was chosen as the laptop of the year.

A new iPhone 4 “burns”

An iPhone 4 caught fire inside a plane that began the landing procedure and now I return with information about another iPhone that has just suffered the same fate. In the picture above we could see the device that apparently caught fire while was on loading on the table of an user. He says it is only at a few inches of the device when it began to pull smoke and then flames out, while it was connected to the computer.

In the morning, I woke up seconds before witnessed the burning of my iPhone when I saw a lot of sparks and black smoke out of the cell. My room was impregnated with an unbearable smell smoke! That moment, turned off the power switch in the room to remove the cell the outlet.

The fault seems to be battery of device which apparently had been lit probably due to a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately this is the second incident occurred just at a few days away from the plane at an Australian company. Incidents like this are rare but when it happens drag all the attention because the world does not expect that a premium device to take fire out of nothing. If you happen, immediately ventilate the room where you are, because the smoke out of terminal is toxic and is recommended that to not inhale.

Microsoft Office suite will be available on iOS platform

Although the iPad tablet is preparing to enter in the third year of existence, Microsoft is now thinking to port the Microsoft Office suite for iOS platform. Microsoft already has an iPhad version of Office suite but now the application is tested by engineers and is unavailable to the public. The information comes from The Daily newspaper that has managed to talk to a source inside Microsoft revealed plans to release Office suite for iOS.

It’s assumed that both of these would work with Office 365 as well as mobile versions, such as Windows Phone’s Office Hub. Because it would be compatible with these full suites rather than as stand-alone apps, the pricing will most likely be significantly lower than existing Office products.

Besides iOS version, Microsoft is preparing a new version of Mac OS X Lion of Office suite but for now it is not yet know when the new applications will become available. I think that a version for iPhone or iPad suite of Office would be extremely popular in App Store especially because iOS does not have a native method to open any kind of documents. I hope that Microsoft may launch as soon as possible its applications and I hope that they will be available at reasonable prices, lower than those for which we can buy Numbers, iWork, etc…
