HTC One V is noted thanks to the case with unibody design, inspired by HTC Legend from 2010. This device is a Smartphone with Android 4.0, rather thin, with a mid-level configuration, which consists of a single-processor running at 1 GHz and a 5 megapixel camera.

Unlike older models, often criticized for poor quality pictures that they offered, HTC One V promises improved performance in this area, after the company added in the construction a new dedicated image processor, able to provide  better images before saving them in compressed JPG format the memory card of the phone. The system provides noise reduction of images, more precise nuances of color and overall better quality photos.

Increased attention paid to the performance of HTC camera cover the software chapter too. The new version of the camera starts in just 0.7 seconds and offers a response time of just 0.2 seconds. Pressing the shutter button on the phone turn on continuous shooting, which after use, provides us a selection of images from which we have to chose the most beautiful picture that you want preserved. Shooting modes are now included in the same interface, with buttons responsible for triggering the capture process positioned next to each other.

Also new for HTC phones is the ability to get photos while filming. Moreover, we can now save snapshots and video clips recorded with the camera.

Some changes were made at HTC Sense 4.0 interface, in response to criticism from users. Many of the animations and decorations present in the old interface was removed, leaving a place with many 2D design, but practical and effective.

HTC One V is classified as a budget Smartphone and should arrive on European shelves by the middle of this year, after the official launch scheduled for early April.

I want to tell you that picture below is of Galaxy S III, but I can’t. This is a rendering that accompanies the first details on one of the most anticipated Smartphones of 2012. Samsung company did not came with it to MWC 2012 and it is possible to expect some information from the court dropped by Apple about iPhone 5.

Top of the range of the Korean manufacturer will come with a screen of 4.8 inch. Rumors refers to a “Blu-ray display”, a strange combination of terms, but that would make sense somehow.

Blu-ray image of a film has a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. If the screen of the Samsung Galaxy S III will have the same resolution, then we have a major problem. From my personal experience I think that is hard to deal with full HD resolution on a screen of 13 “. On the other hand, Samsung can use four physical pixels to display one of the image. Thus, the human eye will not be able to observe the space between pixels and the image is much finer.

On the back of the Samsung Galaxy S III we will find a camera with 8 MP sensor. We expect that will be BSI type, to compete with other models that are launched. The front camera will have a 2 MP sensor. Motoring of Android 4.0 is made by Samsung Exynos chipset with quad core at 1.5 GHz.

To tackle suggestions of copying design from Apple, Samsung will put Galaxy S III in a ceramic housing. It should be strong and very pleasant to the touch. Like I said, the picture above is just a rendering, but refers to a design with very narrow margins of the screen. Galaxy S III is expected in May-June 2012 period.

New technology comes with some bold promises, such as doubling transfer speeds and reduce latency by 50% compared to current HSPA + networks.

According to the company, technology, HSPA + Multiflow not take additional frequency space and can be implemented by mobile phone companies with a simple software update. Unfortunately the same can be said about mobile phones and 3G modems owned by users, those needing a new chipset to support Multiflow benefit.

Despite the bad news given by Sony Ericsson, Xperia X10 users can already test the alpha version feature phones ICS for X10, ported specifically for these devices by developers from XDA.

In Ice Cream Sandwich alpha version for Xperia X10 the most basic characteristics, such as touch screen, radio frequency (signal), GPS and Bluetooth, runs smoothly, instead it is more difficult in terms of Wi-Fi’s, mobile internet (mobile data) and audio playback, and the remaining sites feature the Android 4.0 does not work at all. But all of these will be fixed in the future versions.

The challenge in terms of new versions of Android port is to make drivers for hardware to work in these releases. It is still unknown if Sony Ericsson will be involved again and help developers as they have in terms of various phones Xperia Cyanogen Mod port, but certainly upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich for the 2011 series will be their great help. We hope however that up to a full working version of ICS Xperia X10 will not take long, but until then those interested can test the alpha version you can download from here.
